Established in 1939, Bandelier Elementary School enrolls more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers academic programs in literature, language arts, social studies and philosophy. The school additionally offers classes in fine arts, science, mathematics and technology. Bandelier Elementary School offers special and gifted and talented education programs. Its staff is comprised of counselors, social workers and psychologists. The school also has art, music and physical education specialists. Bandelier Elementary School has a library that provides various print and electronic resources.
