What's in a name? Everything! The Shift is a Community of Faith that wants you to experience a shift in the way you think about church. We want you to know that you are accepted - no matter what you look like, where you come from, or the baggage that life has burdened you with. The Shift is a safe place to wrestle with the hard questions: Who is god anyway? Is He real? Does He care about me? How can He let bad things happen? What is His charactor like anyway?What does He really think of me?How do thes ancient scriptures apply to my life in the culture i live in today? At The Shift we are stripped. Stripped bare of the rules and regulations that religion can bring - and clothed with a love-relationship with Jesus Christ. At The Shift we are tired. Tired of sitting on our hands in the church pews. Emphasis is placed on equipping individuals not to be a subculture unto themselves, but rather to engage the culture around us by serving others with the pure love we have experienced. No matter where you may find yourself on your journey of faith, we invite you to simply come and experience The Shift. Allow others to lock arms with you, as we walk this journey of faith together.
