Day before valentines day 10 am wife and I stopped in for breakfast- I ordered chicken fried steak eggs potatoes toast and coffee wife had sausage eggs potatoes and toast- they promptly sat us and then forgot about us for 15 minutes finally I had to flag down a waitress. Eventually took our order and when mine arrived the breading on the steak looked like it had been fried in 6 month old oil and tasted about the same. Wifes looked about as greasy . I had to run down the waitress to get one coffee refill and she never did come by and ask if we need anything. Food lousy, service lousy and the meal for two cost 27 bucks.

This place is horrible. The food is skimpy. The oil had a burned flavor. The waitress was profane and rude. I recommend skipping this run down overpriced poor excuse for a restaurant.

Best breakfast I have ever had. The most pricey also. The sausages were the best and, the bacon was cooked to perfection. The blueberry pancakes were delicious especially with the blueberry compote (an extra charge). The coffee at $2.75 a cup was worth it. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. It is a very old place with no frills, but I liked it. They will also give you real butter. Organic maple syrup is also available for an additional price.
