Alfred Watkins established a blacksmith shop on Central Avenue in Albany in the 1890?s to attend to the needs of transportation at that time, the horse. With the turn of the century and the introduction of the automobile, the needs of the public changed. Watkins Spring Company, located at 368 Central Avenue, Albany, New York, was established in 1908 to provided spring, brake and front end service for the automobile. From one blacksmith building in 1908, it has grown into one of Albany?s largest repair shops and Alignment facilities. Our mechanics have extensive experience servicing vehicle of all makes and models. Whether it be a passenger car, light duty truck or a heavy duty vehicle, Watkins Spring is sure to Meet all of your front end, spring, suspension, brake repair and service needs.
