For the perspective from a potential instructor with credentials, I believe I asked the wrong questions about accrediting. It became clear they wer not organized or interested. Not sure what is going on there, but would recommended spending time in a CDA Program.

It's kind of funny reading all these horrible reviews. I went to Branford Hall in 2006-07, and the instructors, at least, knew what they were talking about. I know that some of them, and I'm now assuming all of them, are gone from there now. My entire class, as well as all other classes going on at the time, all sent to the appropriate internship sites, and I know at least most of my class was able to find work afterwards. Of course there were some who didn't do so well and were not able to find work, but that's understandable. I do know that once you signed up, the administrators were some of the hardest people to talk to. I do have to say, I was happy with the education I received from there, but it had to do with the instructors at the time. I'm sorry to see that it's gone down hill, but also assumed it would once those instructors left.

I feel that the school is plot to steal money from people. The teachers are high school graduates.. if that.. that know nothing about what they are teaching. I learned more from my book and my software than I ever did from the classroom. And you run into alot of drama because you have to be in a class with the same people the entire 7 months you are there. They sent me to a location that had never agreed to lettting me intern there. The school is required to find you an internship as part of completing the program and it took them 2 weeks after what they promised to find mine. I would NEVER recommend the school to anyone. Its basically a scam and you never can find a job when your done. Every place that I went to for an interview told me that I didnt have the education, skills, or experience to work there. Something that the school also promised to provide. I was better off going back to school and finishing my college degree. Im beyond disappointed with Branford Hall.
C- A REALLY GOOD SCHOOL IF YOU WANT SOMETHING EASY BUT BOOT CAMPED WITH RULES. AFTER YOU SIGN ON THE DOTTED LINE YOU WON'T HAVE ANYMORE COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE ENROLLMENT REP., THAT PROMISED YOU EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD. OH, DID I MENTION THE NEW BOOKS THAT WERE POORLY EDITED, AND HIGHLY CONTRADICTING. TOO BAD THEY DIDN'T COME WITH ANSWER KEYS. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU GET PLENTY OF BREAKS INBETWEEN CLASS AND ALL DURING CLASS. IF YOUR INSTRUCTOR IS NOT A PUSH OVER THEY ARE PROBABLY A DRILL SAERGENT. ANYWAYS YOU PAY A PRETTY HEAFTY PRICE SO I GUESS IT IS WORTH A CERTIFICATE. This school I highly do not recommend. You get a two-bit educationa and the majority of learning comes from you teaching and discovering for yourself. We actually have to converse with other students to find out the correct way and answers. The books come with no answer keys and the the instructor has as much confidence in my little finger, when she isn't wearing out her eraser. I feel like a test rat.
