The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany, has a membership of more than 2,000 young people aged four through 18 years and is based in Albany, N.Y. The club has a lineup of nationally recognized programs for youth and teens that address youth issues and teach young people the skills they need to succeed in life. More than 25 national programs are available in the areas of education, environment, health, arts, careers, alcohol prevention, drug and pregnancy prevention, gang prevention, leadership development and athletics. The programs use community mobilization, recruitment strategies, programming and case management tools to direct young people to positive alternatives. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany has been serving the community for more than a 100 years.
