      The Adanta Group is a community-based behavioral health care company that provides mental health treatment services to residents in 10-county Lake Cumberland area in Kentucky. It has been in business for more than 10 years and specializes in prevention and treatment of mental retardation, developmental and chemical disabilities. The company offers human development, respite care, crisis stabilization, case management, supported living, habilitation and clinical services. The Adanta Group operates the Regional Prevention Center, which provides alcohol, tobacco and drug prevention services. The center offers consultation and technical assistance, training and educational programs, public information, community mobilization and coalition development services. The Adanta Group is accredited by The Joint Commission and comprises of three divisions, including Human Development Services, Clinical Services and the Regional Prevention Center.
