Turner Elementary School enrolls more then 500 students in classes prekindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, math, science and social studies. The school also provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as music, fine arts, physical and health education, athletics, computer, and sports. It offers practice classes in reading, writing and mathematics. The facilities provided by the school include a media center, playgrounds, guidance and counseling departments, and a computer laboratory. It operates a daily lunch program at its cafeteria. Turner Elementary School is located in Albany, Ga., and is operated by Dougherty County Public Schools.
