The Dougherty County School System offers a variety of educational and career development opportunities to students. The system operates several learning centers and middle, elementary and high schools. Its Exceptional Students Program serves students with identified disabilities. The system's schools also administer gifted education programs in kindergarten through grade 12. Its high schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
