Dougherty International Education Middle School is located in Albany, Ga. The school organizes seminars, workshops, parent-teacher meetings, field trips, and chorus and band activities. It has an enrollment of approximately 700 students in grades six through eight. Dougherty International Education Middle School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and physical education. Its parent-teacher association sponsors several extracurricular activities and fundraising events. Dougherty International Education Middle School has partnerships with Farris Screen Printing, Georgia Power Company and U. S. Marine Corps. The school is governed by the Dougherty County School System.
