      Peters, Tschantz & Associates, also known as PTA, provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing and telecommunications engineering design services for municipalities and commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. Established in 1953, it has worked on a variety of commercial and institutional projects, including hospitals, data centers, schools, office buildings, churches, museums, and research and recreational facilities. Peters, Tschantz & Associates designs various plumbing, fire protection, electrical power distribution, lighting, communication, and security and alarm systems. It designs heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in compliance with the standards of the American Society of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers (ASHRAE). The company also conducts analysis of a facility s electrical power distribution system for short circuit, overcurrent protection coordination and arc flash.
