      General Info
      My name is Darla I am the sole owner, my life has been dedicated to the welfare of animals namely dogs. I have over 30 years of experience working with dogs in all fields including medical - training - grooming- boarding and more! After many years of working in and around kennels - doggy hotels - and grooming salons I saw a lot of things that I wished I could have changed to make it less stressful and a lot more fun for the fur-babies. But since I don’t have the money tree in my back yard (lol), I thought what would be the next best thing and it turned out to be greater than I could have dreamed! My home is where Happy Pupz is located, providing a TRUE home setting that allows dogs to be dogs but in a real living room (with plenty of room to horse around) - kitchen - bathroom - 3 bedrooms - and a huge basement for play time (in sections of course for safety) - along with a real grass yard to play in and a special area just for potty time! Grooming can be a very stressful time for your fur-baby(s) because of all the sounds and people and dogs barking and the cages and no where to go potty or play til it is their turn to be groomed and it should not be that way your dog deserves to be pampered and as relaxed as possible when getting groomed so they can really enjoy and love coming back! So here is where I am different from the “grooming salons” - NO ADD ON FEES - Bath & Tidies $25 - Full Service Professional Pampered Groom $35.00 (if all scissor work only $45.00) Nails - Teeth - Paw Pad Treatment - Anal Glands (if needed) - shampoo - deshed - conditioner blow dry and professional cut all included - For ONLY Bath & Tidies all included minus the cut! Private - grooming room ONLY your furbaby(s) NO other dogs or people running around - I only schedule 3 to 4 grooms per day so that each and every baby gets their one on one pampering time! NO cages ! Play and potty time BEFORE & AFTER grooming - They need time to settle in a little and relax around me and know that I am not going to hurt them or cage them before we begin so that way they can really enjoy their spa time! I go at their pace I dont force anything I work with your baby as a team making it a lot less stressful for them! If allowed they get real skinless boneless salt free season free all white meat chicken treats! Doggy Daycare & Boarding Does your fur-baby(s) sleep in your bed during the day and/or at night well then they will here also are they allowed on the living room furniture well if so they are here also! My goal is to provide your dog with as much of a home away from home setting as I possibly can, this proven to be less stressful for your pet and takes less to time to settle in and start having fun!! Not to mention returning home isn’t as stressful because other than the house and of course his/her family the rest of the routine has been just the same with lots of love - play time - and more!! Some of the major benefits of Doggy Daycare: Not left alone all day in the house or in a crate because they can not be left out when alone! Breakfast - lunch - wholesome snacks Play time one on one and in a group setting keeping your furbaby used to other dogs and getting plenty of exercise Potty time in a real yard On going basic training to maintain manners and have fun while doing it YOUR FURBABY IS WELL WORN OUT FROM THE DAY OF FUN AND GAMES SO THEY WILL BE BETTER MANNERED FOR YOU WHEN YOU GET HOME!! Daycare rates $14.00 per day or buy a 5 day or 10 package and save !! - Boarding rates $14.00 per night for TRUE 24 HOUR CARE!! - Families with more than one furbaby in the same household call for special pricing!!
