APV Engineered Coatings formulates products that have no volatile organic content, minimal volatile organic content or no hazardous air pollutants. The company creates rubber marking inks. It offers solvent and water-based inks for a range of applications, including tread striping, alphanumeric coding and stamp pad printing. APV s customers are in business to manufacture and develop products, not coatings. Many of APV's customers have made the decision to eliminate the internal production of incidental chemicals to concentrate investments in their core businesses; while others use APV Engineered Coatings to routinely build their branded solutions.
