Palmetto Package is 'The PLACE' in Aiken, SC! Aside from carrying all the 'usual suspects'..Crown, Smir, Jose, etc. They seem to specialize in the Unusual! The store is jamm-packed with Wine at All Price Points from every corner of the earth! Great selection of Scotch's too! Specialty items..OMG, alcoholic Whipped Cream? 'sure we have that!'...PISA..Italian amarretto(ish) liquor in the leaning bottle (ala leaning tower)..'no problem'. Massive (and Interesting!) Champagne Selection! 1000's of 50ml (MINI BTL)!! Here's the best part..when you walk in the store you notice two big comfortable chairs...can you say Old School...these people will 'turn over every rock in the world to find that $10 bottle of wine you had in Spain..and Enjoy doing it!'. Personal, warm, knowledgeable...very (read VERY) old world. These people 'know their stuff', but they're Not stuffy about that $7 bottle of 'Fun!' Champagne...or the $300 Btl of Christal.
