The Lenawee County Road Commission provides winter and summer maintenance and roadside brush control services for primary and local roads in Lenawee County. The road commission owns and operates its own asphalt plant facility. It offers snow and dust removal services, as well as reinstallation, replacement and repair of mailboxes that have been damaged during road maintenance. The Lenawee County Road Commission receives funds from the State of Michigan, through gas tax and vehicle registration fees. It offers various permit issuances and claims handling services, as well as distributes road maps from its main office facility. The road commission is located in Adrian, Mich.
