The University System of Maryland Foundation, also known as USM Foundation, offers a range of advocacy, fundraising, investment management and stewardship services to the University System of Maryland. It accepts, administers and invests funds on behalf of various educational institutions. The foundation serves University of Maryland, University of Maryland University College, University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute and Frostburg State University Foundation. It also delivers quarterly investment reports. The foundation offers various planned gift options, including, life estate agreements and charitable bequests and trusts. The University System of Maryland includes several universities, research institutions and regional higher education centers. The university provides higher education and research opportunities to more than 114,000 students.
