Located in Addison, Ill., Lutherbrook Child and Adolescent Center is a specialized residential center for children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties. The center serves more than 50 school-aged children and youths. It offers residential treatment programs that include individual, group and family therapies. Lutherbrook Child and Adolescent Center employs a staff of social workers, counselors, child care providers, nurses, teachers, psychologists, art and recreation specialists and consulting psychiatrists. The center also provides day treatment and behavior modification programs, as well as aftercare services. It is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and accredited by the Counsel on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. The center is a program of Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois, which is a social welfare agency.
