Dr. Raja R. Sappati Biyyani is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He has been in practice since 2013, joining GI Specialists of Georgia in 2015. Dr. Raja R. Sappati Biyyani received his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery at the Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka India. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at North Eastern Ohio University College of Medicine in Canton, Ohio and completed his Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he also served as Chief Fellow. He completed an additional fellowship in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at University Hospital, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Raja R. Sappati Biyyani is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with Augusta University. He has earned numerous awards and honors in Educational, Administrative and Leadership Excellence, as well as Teaching and Research Excellence. He has co-authored several publications and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Raja R. Sappati Biyyani is married, with two children. He likes to spend his free time with his family and traveling.
