They will dazzle you with their warm smiles and wonderful curriculum, but their teacher to child ratio makes it almost impossible for any child to receive the attention that they desperately deserve as young and impressionable human beings. Any parent knows that infants/toddlers will fall down and sustain a bruise here and there, but when the injuries, including bites from other children, out-way the incident reports, it makes one ponder the safety of their child. I will say that a couple of teachers there are probably worth their weight in gold, but by the same token, some are definitely in the wrong employment capacity. I am not telling you not to enroll your child into their care. All I am saying is to ask yourself how you want your child?s personality and future to be shaped before you do.
My three year old son has spitting problems. Though I don't personally detect any violent behavior in him, the school is reporting that he's not nice to his friends - they're even claiming that he's abusing the kids in his classroom!!! I would be fine recognizing a behavioral problem with my child, but I don't find this claim to be completely true. The other day, I was asked to come and pick up my child just to learn that he's expelled from the school!!! I wasn't even GIVEN NOTICE to start looking for another daycare!!!! I found that was harsh, inconsiderate and irresponsible on the part of the primrose people!!!
