Excellent experience with AAMS. They just rebuilt a 6.1 lt Chrysler Hemi engine for me. Have logged about 600 miles on the engine and completed first oil and filter change. The engine runs perfectly. I had my car towed in, the owner Mr. Tony Ellison took a few days to diagnose the problem, provided me with an estimate range based on certain things needing to be done. He was on the money with the estimate and I considered it fair based on other quotes I had received for a rebuild. This shop is not a "fast food type machine shop." They take their time and are meticulous with their work. My outcome has thus far been fantastic. I am very delighted with the work done at AAMS and can highly recommend them. They were responsible for everything from pulling the engine to rebuilding the engine to replacing the engine. Mr. Ellison made no promises that he could not keep, was very helpful with questions when I called and delivered a quality finished product. If you have the patience AAMS will deliver!
I've dealing with these guys for three years and they have not been able to give me a quality running engine that they guaranteed in two weeks. This is the worst choice I could have made.
