Fight with the swordsmanship of medieval knights. Defend the honor of the ladies of the court. Slay dragons. All of these things require skills, which are taught at Swords of Chivalry, a Historical European Martial Arts School in Acton, Massachusetts for high school and middle school students.

Swords of Chivalry is a school of Historical European Martial Arts. We focus on the art of swordsmanship, in order to inform the use of any other weapon, including spear, shield, dagger, and even unarmed combat. Advancement is based not upon skill with weapons, but upon demonstration of chivalric virtue. Charity, leadership, and wisdom are just as important to the school as honor, skill, and fortitude. Weapons taught include the long sword, broad sword, claymore, back sword, small sword, rapier, short sword, single stick, mace, axe, hammer, spear, shield, staff, and dagger.

Fencing masks, training swords, and other simple equipment are provided by the school. Insurance is provided through the HEMA Alliance.
