Dr. Clifford DePrang is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with advanced expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and cartilage restoration. A Texas A&M graduate in Aerospace Engineering, Dr. DePrang’s early career at NASA inspired him to pursue medicine, ultimately finding his true calling in orthopedic care and never looked back. He completed medical school and residency at UT Health Science Center in Houston, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine and joint reconstruction. Dr. DePrang has served as team physician for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, WNBA’s San Antonio Stars, and AHL’s San Antonio Rampage, and currently supports local colleges and high schools.
