bad color

They switched the color line they used and now my hair feels awful! My color has never been the same, i kept going back giving it another chance but nope I will never go back to the salon because theyve done nothing to help me out on this matter and everytime i go into that salon it looks worse and worse. And where are all the employees going? Ive heard over 6 have left in a month and a half and the parking lot is hardely ever full anymore. I will be seeking out to find the employees who left. I love the girls who work there but whoever is running it clearly has no idea what they are doing!

I would reccomend any service provider there beyond no doubt. But the salon expeirience in whole i was completly discusted. They have someone running it from another state and a guy whos a teacher that you can just tell is fake. I would rather go to a salon where i can relax and feel like im welcomed!

I love my color!

It is evident that my colorist knows her color! I appreciate the consistency. David Broadway has great customer service. They always want to make it a great day at David Broadway.

Great Spa gift

Been going to db for several years now. My husband buys me a spa day of beauty every year and I love it. Db salon and day spa offers exemplary services in a tranquil environment. Great job, david!

A miracle salon and spa

I have been swimming for years and I have damaged hair. Aaron Davis took the time and gave me the right product to help my hair. He is also a precision haircutter. One of the best haircutters in the city. Awesome Aaron.

They know Blondes!

Joyce Taylor is outstanding. I've gone to her for years. She cares about her clients and more importantly she knows how to blonde. So natural. And the salon is a grande salon, beautiful and tranquil.

David Broadway Rocks!

David Broadway is the only color department in the city that has advanced training. And it shows. Teresa and Robin Kass give great color and cut. They are professional and a lot of fun! Fantastic job David Broadway.

An excellent salon; a hip salon

Backstage at David Broadway is a fun salon; a hip salon and most importantly the stylists have received excellent training from the management. And most importantly, the salon has cheaper prices! Sara Broadway and Nikki Markowski rock! Good job, Backstage.

I Agree!

I totally agree with this persons experience! I myself never even made it to the salon as the experience on the phone with whomever I talked to was the worst experience ever! While speaking with this "woman" I guess I made the mistake of asking prices and she told me "if you have to ask for pricing this is not the place for you, however you can look it up online!"



That's all it took for me!!

Not Freindly!!

I would never rcommend it to anyone!!! Nobody I spoke with was friendly in the least bit!!! Maybe I didn't have "the right look". It took about 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that I was there. WALKED OUT!!!

I took my 16-year-old daughter to Backstage this past weekend to have her hair colored and styled before returning to school. It was a disaster from the start. I did show up 15 minutes late, but waited as long for the colorist to take my daughter back to start her hair, she proceeded to rudely tell my daughter she could not do her color because she had been late and it was too complicated for the time she had, another colorist took over and the manager, Jennifer, came and spoke with me and apologized profusely. I accepted responsibility for being late and suggested the colorist not be so harsh when talking to customers. after coloring they left my daughter over a wash basin for an hour and 20 minutes while the stylist she was supposed to see took her next appointment. We had to ask someone to go find someone to do my daughters hair. Again Jennifer asked me how things were going and I told her, she apologized saying they were short handed and if she had known it would take so long she would have gotten someone else to cut my daughters hair. She was very sorry and said the services for the day was free and she could not apologize enough. She said she was sending Darren Broadway over to speak with me. He did talk to me and spent 3o minutes trying to justify everything that had happened that day. 1.) We were late and that caused the colorist to be unable to do the color (no mention of rudeness) 2.My daughters hair was so damaged (she had only ever dyed her hair once before and it was a semi-permanent black color)that is why they left her treatment on for so long.(no mention that nobody ever checked on her) and when it was all said and done we were charged $205.00 for the day of course Darren justified this since he gave us a $50.00 gift certificate. After five hours of this foolishness and Darren's condescending attitude all I wanted to do was to get out of there!! I do not think this behavior is the exception to the rule since there was another customer at the front desk visibly upset about the rudeness of her stylist. If you are looking for the "total salon experience" I suggest you go someplace where the customer is appreciated and not viewed as an inconvenience!!!
